Bike Ride to Lettuce Lake

Took our first bike rides yesterday. Rode around the RV Park with a visit to one of our winter friends to see their improvements they made to their lot. They had a roof and screened in patio built around there 5th. wheel. Wow was it ever beautiful! $$$$$

From there we headed to the public boat launch just minutes from the Park.

Wilma, Lettuce Lake and Boat Ramp

This was the first day that I have rode my bike in over a year. Actually, since before I had my 1st. hip replacement. A little hesitant I was, but after the 3rd. try I managed to swing my leg over the seat getting on the bike normally. This was a huge accomplishment, and I won’t feel confident until I am able to do it a few more times.

Today is Laundry day. Our favorite thing to do while we are here in Florida….NOT! But it has to be done.

Temperatures have been in the mid 80’s since we arrived. The weather man says that after this weekend the temperature will be in the mid 70’s. Life is Good!

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

RV Park Wi-Fi Problems?

No, I don’t think they have problems. For the past 2 years I’ve been putting blame on them for not being able to connect to tne internet. The manager thought it might be because of to many people streaming and using all the bandwidth up. But yesterday and today I’ve found out differently. Of course the park is only about half full of the normal snowbirds, so we will see for sure in a month or so.

First off I purchased the Alpha Long Range Antenna This did a wonderful job of pulling in the signal from the club house.

Image result for Alfa 2000mw 2W Waterproof Marine high power Long Range Outdoor 802.11 B, G, N, USB wireless network Wifi Adaptor with Integrated 12dBi Antenna - Up to 150mps

Turned on the computer and my Windows 10 laptop showed a very strong signal. Clicked on the Chrome browser and waited to connect. And waited, and waited. WOW…not connecting. Did some minor changes on the browser to no avail.

So I did the un-thinkable, I started up Windows 10 Microsoft Edge to connect to the internet and downloaded Firefox web browser.

After installing and setting it up Firefox connected with the RV Park’s Wi-Fi. Go figure! I just can’t get the Google Chrome Browser to work here, and it’s my preferred browser!

So, I guess there is some more learning to be done as to why Chrome won’t connect and Firefox will. Any suggestions? Please leave a comment. Thanks.

It Doesn’t Feel Like The Day Before Christmas.

I never remember it being this warm just the day before Christmas! I’m not complaining mind you, and we might get a chance to take a dip in the pool on Christmas day.

Please wait while picture is loading ...

We were volunteered to help with the RV Park’s Christmas Dinner again this year. We will be meeting in the club house at 9am to get the hams and turkey breasts in the roasters. Then we will be decorating up the club house. Around 12pm we will return to take the hams and turkey breasts out of the roasters, slice them up and put them back in the rosters to keep warm. Dinner will be a “pot luck” dinner and I’m sure there will be more food brought than what can be consumed. Dinner is scheduled to start around 2pm. So maybe, just maybe there might be enough time found to take a historical “dip in the pool on Christmas day”.

Made It

Yes, we made it to our Winter home here in Florida. The drive was a little more than boring. Very heavy fog in the Smoky mountains, had to slow down to 45 MPH at times. Couldn’t see more than 15 feet in front of us. It was a white knuckle drive for a while I must say.
Getting into Georgia we took the by-pass around Atlanta. Much better than following I-75 through Atlanta. Wilma was much more at ease with the light traffic we encountered.
After 3 days of traveling, we arrived here around 2pm on Saturday.
Hugs to our friends and neighbors before we set up. Afterward our friends Dennis and Kathy had us over for dinner. Deer stew, and salad. Wow was it ever delicious. Didn’t think I liked deer meat, but this stew was fantastic.
Then Sunday we were entertained with some live music. The keyboard player is our neighbor just two sites over. Blind but you would never know it as he plays like a professional. Great entertainment.
OPlease wait while picture is loading ...
As you can see we are in for some great weather this week. I knew we were in Florida when we could leave our windows opened all night last night!

The software developers of the new Open Live Writer, which I use to publish  my blog, are still in the development mode. You may notice problems with my posts. No one is more frustrated than I.
Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

The Death Of Live Writer

Well it worked for a couple days, now it's dead. I'm talking about the Windows Live Writer program that most bloggers use to publish their blogs. Using the generic blogger software allows us to publish, like this post, but it's a little more of a pain.

What's next? Those great folks that give us "free" programs, the "Open Source" people have been in negotiations with Microsoft for over 2 years to allow them to create another program using the "Windows Live Writer" code. It has finally been approved from Microsoft and the "new" program will be known as "Open Live Writer".

Here is a quote from one of the programmers blogs about it:
  • ADDING VERY SOONGoogle runs the excellent Blogger blog service. We've worked with the Blogger Team within Google on this project, and they've been kind enough to keep an older authentication endpoint running for many months while we work on Open Live Writer. Soon, Google and Blogger will finally shut down this older authentication system. Blogger will use the more modern OAuth 2 and Open Live Writer will be updated to support OAuth 2. Windows Live Writer will never support this new OAuth 2 authentication system, so if you use Blogger, you'll need to use Open Live Writer.

Using Live Writer Again!

Ever since I had turned on the 2 step verification on my Blog account, which I highly recommend to anyone who has a Google account, I was not able to use the Live Writer program to create the posts and publish them.

Looking up a fix for this on Google search proved successful with these instructions 2 step verification for Live Writer

I set it up and presto it worked! So this blog post is just a test to make double sure everything is working.

Can’t wait to see these type of tree’s again.

Until next time, be safe and God Bless

Up Grades and Doctors, Snowbird Ready

We have been so busy the last couple months getting things ready for our Snow Bird trip to Florida. From doing upgrades to the 5th. wheel RV, to getting all of our Doctor’s appointments taken care of. All this having being squeezed in between everyday living. Seems we are just spinning in circles. Not complaining mind you, just getting excited for the departure date.

A few of the upgrades I’ve done with the 5th. wheel is added shelves to the pantry, and medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Drilled holes in the bedroom window frames to allow the windows to go fully open, installed stabilization braces, and removed the standard rear lights and installed LED lights.
New LED lights
Original lights

As most of our driving is done during the daylight, the LED lights are much much brighter than the standard 1 bulb light. Drivers behind us will have no trouble seeing the brake lights or turn signals now.

This is actually a “Test Blog Post”. Since I’ve changed my security settings in Google I can’t publish a post made with a program called Live Writer on my computer. I liked Live Writer because you can create the post without being online. That’s important when I’m away from my home and am using my data from Verizon. So what I’ve managed to do is write the blog post in live writer, copy it, then sign onto my Blog online, create a new post and paste the Live Writer post in it. This doesn’t work with the photo’s, so I have to go back and re-upload and place the photo’s. Kind of “twice the work” but if I’m to keep posting it’s what I’ll have to do until I figure out a different way, without changing my security settings in Google.

Sorry for the techy paragraph above.

So until next time, be safe and God Bless.

Special Day for me, Veterans Day.

Being a Veteran, this day means so much to me. Though I spent 4 years aboard an Aircraft Carrier during the Viet Nam conflict, I’m still taken back and humbled when strangers tell me “Welcome Home and thank you for your service”. I don’t feel I did anything special, just served my country as I saw fit to the best of my ability.
I’m the 1st. sailor on the left edge, 4th. row down from the top of photo.
Today for the first time, I was invited to my nephews’ school for their annual Veterans Tribute. The entire school assembled in the gymnasium where we were honored for our service.
In attendance 18 veterans from all branches of the service and 4 military conflicts, WWII, Korean, Viet Nam, and the Gulf War. I have to say I felt honored to sit among these men and women.
Nephew Jeremy shaking my hand after the ceremony.
This evening Wilma and I plan on going to dinner at Applebee’s. Every year they honor the Veterans with a choice of different discounted plates. Last year the place was packed! While we were eating, a Marine Veteran spoke out their famous saying, followed by another Veteran from the Army, and the Navy and Air Force followed. What a great feeling overtook Wilma and I. Almost brought tears to our eyes seeing all these Vets from so many conflicts all enjoying each others company, rooting on each other having dinner at Applebee’s. I look forward to this evening.
To all our Veterans and active Military personnel I say “Thank You for your Service”.

Windows 10

I’ve been working on updating my laptop to Windows 10 for the past couple days. It did have a few glitches but I believe I’ve overcome them.

Installing LiveWriter and having it hook up to my blog was the most problematic. It kept telling me that I was using a wrong sign in or pass word. I knew they were correct so I had to go back to my email account and change the password. Afterwards LiveWriter accepted it. Go figure.

The desk puter cannot get updated to Windows 10 according to Microsoft. I guess the 10 year age on it is to blame. So I guess I have the best of both worlds!

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

Annual Grandkid Camp Trip

Sunday late morning we had the Grand kids, (4 of the 5 of them) in the truck ready to head out on our Annual Grand Kid Camp Trip. We usually stop at a local restaurant and get a lunch prior to leaving, which we did. Then it was on to Outdoor Adventure's Lakeshore Resort
The kids were great when we arrived, helping us unload the truck and car and get set up in the cabin we rented for 3 days.
The cabin we stayed in, on the photo above, is the upper right had corner, back row top cabin with the green roofs. It's great because it can sleep 7 and has a loft where the kids set up their space.
They were within walking distance to the "Dome" building (center in photo) where all the activities are held. Next to the Dome is the boat use station where they tried out a paddle boat. Next to that is the beach area where we always eat a picnic lunch and the kids swim and try to get a suntan.
There choice of what boat to take was determined by the park rules. Someone over the age of 18 has to be on the water. Haley being over 18 was the dedicated "supervisor" and they all piled into a paddle boat. As it was windy the boat ride lasted just 15 minutes.
Can't forget the evening with a campfire, just right for making Smoores! Even though the temperature was in the 80's we still had a fire each evening.
I guess the angle of the photo didn't do well with the stick looking like it's leaning on Haley's head. :)
And you just can't go to Lakeshore Resort without a trip down the Lazy River! Brooke and Savannah had so much fun they took more than a couple trips down the Lazy River.
Of course as tradition has it, there is time for a game of Putt Putt golf. This year Brooke and Rebecca started playing, later joined by Savannah.
Afterward it was tradition to get an ice cream cone. Poor Nana could only take a lick of mine because they didn't have any sugar free ice cream.
I think Savannah was having a "brain freeze" when this photo was taken. ;)
Later in the day the chances of the weather turning bad even showed it's face.
But the cold front only brought some hale and a few sprinkles and the next day the sun was out in all it's brightness.

This Saturday Wilma and I head for Goshen, Indiana for our very first RV Rally. There are more than a couple things that need to be repaired on our new 5th. wheel, and this is the perfect time to have those problems taken care of at no cost. We are looking forward to a week of entertainment with other "Forest River RV owners.

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

Finally Going RV'ing

I have recovered from surgery pretty well, still a little aches and pains, but we are going! We finally get to use our 5th. wheel again. Leaving Sunday morning for Shipshawanna, Indiana.
We will be staying in the South Campground with 3 other couples that are our RV neighbors in Florida. What fun we are going to have seeing our "Winter family" again. All of us are looking forward to this.
So much to see in such a short time, as we are only going to be there 3 days. But on Tuesday, that day is reserved for a trip to the Flea Market.
There is always something there that calls for you. It's an open air market so we are praying for good weather. As my close friend Gary says, "this place should be called Shipyourwallet".

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

Outpatient Therapy

Today was my first day of outpatient therapy. The RX says I can receive as much as 3 times a week for 8 weeks. They started the schedule of twice a week until the PT tech decides if I need additional work.

The first day of PT is taken up by getting measurements of how far the leg moves at different angles. We found that my right leg only has about half the movement it should have. This troubled me little but she assured me that the therapy I receive on my left leg should also be done on my right leg, thus getting it to move within the specs.

As it’s just been 3 weeks since surgery, she felt I was doing above normal. It drew a shocked look on her face when I told her I got on my rider lawn mower last Saturday and cut the grass.

My New Toy!

She assured me it would be ok to do that just as long as I don’t break the restrictions for movement the Dr. gave me. I assured her that it wasn’t any different than driving my Pickup. Last year with the right hip surgery, it was at least 3 months before I could drive.

That is just about it for new news that’s happening, so….

Until next time, be safe and God Bless

Another New Hip

Another month has passed since the last post, so here is what has been happening.

May 5th. arrives and I’m at the Hospital getting prepared for left hip replacement surgery. Wasn’t too nervous, just wanted to “get it over with”.

20150505_ Ready for Surgery

I was the second surgery scheduled that day. The nurses had done all they could do with me. Then the anesthesiologist came in the room. Looked over my records, explained how the procedure would go and the surgeon should be next to talk to me about the surgery. The surgeon did come in and looked at me and said “Would it be ok with you if I schedule you for next Tuesday?” I thought he was kidding, but he said no he just wasn’t feeling well and needed to cancel all of today’s surgery. He looked like he was running a fever as he had a sweaty for head. So I was un-hooked from all the IV lines and told to get dressed and check out of the hospital. A week later on the 12th. I went back to the Hospital and had the surgery. On the 14th. I was back home resting and recovering.

This year we celebrated Mothers day outside on the deck. Wilma was surprised when she received a delivery on Saturday morning, the day before Mothers Day.

20150511_Mothers Day Flowers

The “Three Mothers in my life” made for a wonderful family day here at home.

20150510_The Three Mothers in my life

Had my first Post surgery check up yesterday. The staples were removed and the staff along with the Dr. said I was looking really well. I mentioned that they probably tell all their patients that, but they assured me that I really did look great for just having the surgery 10 days ago. I guess the Physical Therapy I’m getting at home 3 days a week is working. Even though I feel like “the guy is killing me!” I sure am sore the day after PT.

Today daughter Angel bought grand daughter Brooke over to celebrate her Birthday. Savannah our youngest grand daughter is staying with us this week end and got to enjoy the celebration with us also. But prior to having our “grilled Lunch” out on the deck this sunny day, NaNa put the two Grandkids to work. The three of them planted the tomatoes in the garden, while Angel mowed the lawn. I could do nothing but sit on the deck and enjoy the sunshine and my wonderful family!

20150523_Tomato Garden

I did get to BBQ the Brats on the grill, while the “girls” prepared corn on the cob, chips, and fix’ens. A wonderful summertime lunch. Earlier in the day, Savannah helped NaNa bake the birthday cake. Mmm good cake it was, along with the ice cream.

After eating our lunch, Brooke opened her gifts, then blew out the candles so she could cut the cake while Savannah dipped the ice cream.

The Grandkids are really growing up. Allowing us to just sit back and enjoy the moment.

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

A Month Just Flew By

Where has the time gone! It’s been over a month since my last post here. I guess I’ve been busier than what I planned on being, so this is going to be a short blog just to get everyone caught up on what’s been happening.

We left Florida and headed back home on April 2nd. We later found out that was a mistake we won’t do again. The traffic heading north was the worst I’ve ever seen. On one 10 hour day trip we only traveled 300 miles. The Easter holiday travelers, the Spring Breaker travelers, combined with the Snow Birds was just too much. It took us an extra 24 hours to make the trip home, but we arrived safely and our new 5th. wheel is parked where our Motorhome used to stay between the garage and house. Had to plug it in as the temperatures were getting down into the high 20’s at night and I didn’t want any freeze damage. This morning the temperature is still getting too cold for this time of year at only 28F. When is Ol Man Winter going to leave Michigan??!!

Last fall before we headed for Florida, I made arrangements with my surgeon to have my right hip replaced. I wanted it done as soon as we arrived back home from Florida so I wouldn’t be laid up most of the summer. The surgery was scheduled for May 5th. It slipped my mind how many doctors I had to get clearance from prior to surgery. The last 3 weeks have been dedicated to making all those visits to the Doctors plus getting some last minute things done around the house that just can’t wait.

I don’t know when my next blog will be, possibly another month away as I heal from the surgery. So….

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

A Visitor Last Night

The RV Park is starting to empty for the summer. Each day now for the past week there has been at least one RV leaving. Yesterday evening my best buddy Gary left and headed North. He is planning on stopping in Nashville for a few days to visit a cousin before returning home to the cold of Michigan.

We are not really looking forward to our return trip back to Michigan this year. Been watching the weather there and it’s still getting down in the 20’s at night! Come on already! Enough with the winter temps.

Our weather here has been getting up in the low 90’s this past week, and down in the upper 60’s low 70’s at night. These temperatures allow us to keep our windows open all night now, enjoying the fresh humid air. By around 2PM the AC has to be turned on to keep our home comfortable. Plus our Pug just can’t take the heat when it’s in the 90’s.

We had a visitor come visit us sometime in the wee hours of the night! While walking Kybee around our site first thing in the morning, I noticed some ground dug up. 20150322_095212 20150322_095228 Seems we had a visit from one of the many Armadillo that are native to this area. I guess he was just checking to see if we had any grubs or bugs to feed him. :-)

We have turned in our reservation request for next year. Planning on arriving on December 15th, a week earlier than this year. But as the saying goes, our plans for our travels are always “written in jell-o” as we never know if something may arise to change our plans.

We also have planned on taking a different route home. We will only be on I-75 to just South of the Georgia border where we will pick up I-10. We will travel through Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, a very small portion of Ohio, getting back on I-75 just South of Toledo. We look forward to missing Atlanta, GA. Cincinnati, OH. and Dayton, OH. Hopefully we will miss all the “Snowbird” traffic heading North.

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

Wednesday, March 11, 2015

Yesterday was a perfect Florida day weather wise. The temperature hit the 90’s. Even with the breeze we had to turn on the AC. Our Pug, Kybee, just can’t take that kind of heat and spent most of the day in the trailer. 20150310_140938 As our patio faces West, it was a little too warm to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Greg, our neighbor behind us invited us over to join them on their patio. Denny and Kathy also joined in, and we had a small “happy hour” just “shooting the breeze”. :-)

As I was looking to my left at Wilma, I noticed something moving in the grass. My suspicion was correct as I hurriedly walked over to see what it was. A 4 foot Black Snake Everyone came over to check out the snake, keeping their distance from him. He is poisonless but can still bite.  20150310_161500 The photo above you can see how close he was to our patio. He was going to go up the Orchard tree until he saw me approaching him to get these photo’s. 20150310_161547-001 He knew I spotted him and left the tree, but not before he coiled up a bit and checked me out. He didn't like my presence After the above photo, I backed away from taking any more photo’s and he went on his way. We kept an eye on him as he left because at first we thought he was going to head for our friends Denny and Kathy’s trailer next door. And Denny really hates snakes! :-)

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

Black and White

Every year, Russ, puts on an event to help the local charities. He calls it the “Black and White” function. You are encouraged to wear something that has black and white in it. It’s a big hit and every year more and more join in the help him make the event a success.

Jack and Russ Those attending bring “finger food” and a gift to be auctioned off. All proceeds go to a local charity here in Arcadia.

20150028_Wilma, Cheryl, keeping the food supplied There was more food brought than what could be consumed. Another showing how generous everyone is.

This is our third year here at the park, and each year the amount of donated gifts keep growing.Donated gifts to be auctionedThis year there was also two kinds of “Punch”. Jim Beam mix or Bourbon mix would be everyone’s choice. 20150228_Gary, Fred, GregGary, Greg and myself were ready to help with the serving of the punch. It didn’t take long for the three punch bowls to be emptied. This is Russ’s idea of helping to loosen up the wallets of those bidding on items. ;)

Russ always does a great job as the MC always first thanking everyone for their generosity in supplying the gifts and attending with their bids. He continues with thanking all those who pitch in to help him with this event as one person could not accomplish it. He always seems to lighten things up then by telling a joke, and reminding everyone that every cent received will go to the local charity and anyone wishing to go with him the following day are welcomed.

As no one knows who donated what, or what the gifts are, you actually bid on an unknown gift by site only. Russ takes a gift, one at a time, and the bidding begins. Russ as the Auctioneer Sometimes he looks in a package and makes comments on “how this would be great for a gal”. But never gives out any ideas as to what the gift is. Even some of his comments are all in fun when they don’t pertain to the “clue” he may give us.

Another very successful “Black and White” was accomplished this year. Everyone had a wonderful time. Almost everyone left with a gift they won, and everyone had smiles on their faces.

Russ surpassed the donation amount that was raised last year. This year a little over $2300.00 was raised!

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

Water/Cell Phones

I always used to have a “holster” to carry my cell phone. But on our way to Florida this year I had an idea to carry the phone in my pocket. The reason is that I knew I would be changing from jeans to shorts and back to jeans in a day as the temperatures changed. Much less hassle.

The other day the temps went up to the mid 80’s and I just knew it was a pool day. So in changing into my trunks, by habit, the cell phone went into my left hand pocket without a thought about it.

At pool side, Wilma was already in enjoying the refreshing pool water. I kicked off the Crocks and headed for the pool. Walked right in without a thought. After about a half hour Wilma mentioned that I would have to phone someone later. Then it hit home. I said to her with a straight face, no expression, “I have my phone in my pocket”. I guess the way I said it so calmly Wilma didn’t believe me. (I guess she just knew I wasn’t that absent minded.) Then I reached below the water, into my pocket brought up the ruined phone.

That ended my swim for the day, as I exited the pool and got ready to head for the Verizon store.

Thankfully I had the “insurance” on the phone! So I just made a claim, and authorized a deductable payment ($149.00) for a new phone. Much better than the retail price of around $625.00 for a new phone. I should have the new phone in hand within three days.

Thank goodness Wilma has a tablet. I can still get on the internet and take care of business! I’m still having withdrawal not having my “smart phone” on me. Worse than what it would feel like walking around with only one shoe on!

So, even though it was a $149.00 mistake putting the phone in my pocket, the insurance came in handy this time. Yes…..I’m going back to my holster when I get my new phone!

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.

Vacation for Daughter Angel and Granddaughter Brooke

Another week that just flew by way too fast. Angel and Brooke arrived last Thursday evening, 2/12 and had to catch a flight back home today 2/20.

The first day we just sat around the RV soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying the RV park. Saturday 2/14 we headed to Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda.

2015-02-14 11.50.01

2015-02-14 11.56.14

There some souvenirs were bought and boats to look at along a pier with Palm Trees.

2015-02-14 11.55.06 As an added treat we watched a Charter Captain filet a couple fish for a customer.

2015-02-14 12.07.08 2015-02-14 12.02.38 From there we headed to the Ponce De Leon Nature Center. A bird sanctuary with amazing birds were on display.

P2140046  From this little owl, to this owl.

2015-02-14 12.36.22 2015-02-14 12.42.12 Just about every bird found here in Florida is at the sanctuary.

From there a stop to check out the small beach. I can’t call it a beach as there was no way to get to the water with a steel sea wall, but the view is great.

2015-02-14 13.08.48 On Monday we headed to Ft. Myers Beach. This beach is one of our favorites, but you have to arrive early to beat the traffic and find a parking spot. We arrived by 10am which was almost too late! When we left around 2pm, there was a 4 mile back up of traffic wanting to get to the beach. Lucky for us there was no traffic leaving the beach.

2015-02-16 13.26.2820150216_123225 20150216_123551 Even though the cool temperatures kept you out of the Gulf waters, the warm sun made for a great day on the beach. Catching all that wonderful sunshine made us hungry for lunch, so we headed to our favorite beach front restaurant Nemos.

20150216_11040420150216_110538 What a great open air restaurant! The food we had was well worth the price paid. 20150216_114028 The serving of Nacho’s was enough for 4 people!20150216_114017I had the hot wings. When I ordered, I asked for the “Hot” sauce. The waiter warned me that they make their own sauce and the Hot version is really hot. So I ordered the medium heat sauce, which was almost more heat than I could take! But they were delicious!

The kids stay was winding down and there was yet another beach that needed to be explored. Englewood Beach is where one can actually find Shark teeth, and Brooke didn’t waste any time finding a handful.20150218_104655 P2180028

20150218_104931The weather was not the best as the cold front moved in from the North. Winds were blowing 30 MPH so we had to keep our hoodie’s on.P2180034But that didn’t stop Nana and Brooke from taking a “dip” in the Gulf! P2180032

Heading home we stopped at a local restaurant near our RV park. The Navigator is known for it’s “Big Fish Sandwich” which I just had to try. We were told that it’s so big it would feed 2 so Wilma and I split one, which was plenty for each of us.

20150218_133658P2180040We had to taste the “Gator Bites” above. Angel was so funny as she ate one. She kept her eyes closed and kept telling herself “I’m not eating Alligator”. P2180045      But we all did like them….well maybe Angel didn’t.  Another great “Old Florida” business with plenty of history, great food and drinks. P2180037P218003920150218_134318

As I write this blog, they are both back home in Cold, Cold Michigan. Wilma and I already miss them, and the fun they bring with them.

Until next time, be safe and God Bless.
